Nashville Market, 2015- part:  the first

Hi Friends,
Here we are almost ready for our first great day of the market.  Teri spent all night last night decorating the outside of our window.  Doesn't it look good?  Sadly, I fell sound asleep inside in the living room and could only vaguely in the depths of my subconscious here her chatting with everyone who wandered past.  I think she did a perfect job even without me.  Today we spent setting up our room and getting ready for tomorrow.  It was a lot of fun and the room looks quite awesome.  There are so many wonderful designers here that it will be exciting to share with you all of our treasures.

Everyone hangs a sign outside their room so that it is easier to find them.  Unfortunately, when we went to unpack the box that holds our sign, we realized that it is still sitting back in Utah in the cupboard under the stairs.  So tonight at ten we had to make our own sign with markers and chalk.  Pat and Norma are helping Teri hang the finished sign from the railing.  Doesn't it look like they are in a candle factory.  That is funny.

Buzz into Spring with Shepherd's Bush

Well, here are our new offerings for this market.  I hope you like them.

Abundance Sampler

This sampler is stitched on 32 count hand-dyed linen with beautiful shades of solid and hand-dyed silk threads.  Complete with sweet embellishments and a tiny sampler within the sampler, this piece will bring you much joy.

Stone Snowman

Our snowman for 2015 is happily guarding his little village under the moon's watchful eye.  Stitched on 30 count hand-dyed linen with faded silks and overdid cotton threads, he will be fun for all.

Be Still Pin Cushion
Kit:  $30.00

I have been wanting to design a series of larger pin cushions for a while now.  Here is my first one.  I had such a great time working on it, I just didn't really want to finish it up.  It is worked on 32 count Sandstone with fun overdid threads.  We have fun little buttons to embellish it as well.  The kit also comes with fabulous green ric race, black glass beads, and wool felt for the backing.  How fun.  And...Just Another Button Company has made a sweet pin set for us to go with this cushion.  So darling.

Busy Bee Bag
Kit:  $24.00

Teri has spent months getting this darling piece ready to go...picking the perfect fabrics and colors.  I think it turned out so sweet.  Like our other little bags, it is just the right place to pack a tiny project and get on the go.  The bag is already made and everything you will need to complete this piece is included in your kit.  Have fun!

Be Joyful Fob
Kit:  $16.00

Teri has had a great time designing this little set.  With the Busy Bee Bag and the Bless Ewe chart (below), they are a great companion group.  Ready for Spring, this little piece includes everything you need to complete it:  32 count linen, fun threads and buttons and beautiful hand-dyed ribbon.

Good Luck Box
Kit: $12.00
(Box is sold separately)

Teri loves designing these little box kits,  and she has been nursing her Shamrock plant since last March just to have in a St Patty's Day picture. It is looking a bit peaky, but alive.  (I guess a bit like people.

Spring Trifles
Leaflet $8.00

Here is the latest in our Trifle series.  Sweet fabrics, buttons and hand-dyed ribbon all combine to create three sweet pincushions.  As always, we have these wonderful projects  as a leaflet or a complete kit with all the finishing supplies.  The girls at the shop are busy cutting the fabrics and all the bits and bobs for this kit.

Pink Daisy Button
$8.00

Bless Ewe
Free pattern with the purchase of the Pink Daisy Button
or a complete kit for $30.00
This is our new button for the market.  It is locally hand-made by a friend, and is so adorable.  Bless Ewe is stitched on 18 count linen with cotton overdyed floss and wool thread.  The kit includes all the supplies you will need to stitch the pincushion.
You will just love the sweet threads, linen, ribbon and fabulous pink plaid backing fabric.  And the button is a darling.
And...Jill's fabulous frame.  OK, you might need to stitch 2 of these.

Well, we are ready to open our door and get started.  We will post some fun things later today, so watch or look for us on Instagram.  Yay!
